Portions of the Seminole Wekiva Trail Closed for Resurfacing

SANFORD – Seminole County will be resurfacing a 3.6 mile section of the Seminole Wekiva Trail from County Road 46A in Heathrow to the Markham Trail Head. Sections of the Trail will be closed during this project.

Work will take approximately 1 week to complete and is tentatively scheduled to begin on September 9, 2013. However, due to contractor scheduling the project can begin as early as September 2nd and will end no later than September 20th.

Trail closure signs will be posted on the Seminole Wekiva Trail at County Road 46A and the Markham Trail Head.
